Connect

Join us every Sunday from 10:00 for a cup of tea/coffee before the Sunday Service starts.

Our weekly message is published as a podcast which allows those who have served during the service to keep up to date with the relevant teaching and encouragement. For us, however, church isn’t just about Sunday and we have a range of midweek groups operating, where we share food, laughter and fellowship.

If you would like to keep to up-to-date with what is going on with us at the moment, why not follow us on Facebook or contact us.

Sunday Service

Come and join us from 10:00 every Sunday for a cup of tea or coffee before the service which starts at 10:30. Part way through the service the children between 4 and 11 years of age are welcome to join Giants (our children’s church). We also have separate Sunday teaching for youth between the ages of 11 ad 16, which takes place once per month.

The Sunday service is primarily based around 3 P’s:
Praise, Prayer and Preaching.

Our services are quite informal with a modern style of worship. As a church we are very passionate when it comes to praise and worship.

We believe it is important to take time during a service to pray. If anyone has a specific need, we encourage them to fill out a Prayer Request card prior to the start of service. This is then shared (where appropriate) with the congregation during a time of prayer.

We also share communion together on the 1st Sunday of every month.

We are a Bible believing church that loves to preach and teach from The Word of God. Each Sunday the Pastor or one of the preaching team will bring an encouraging and challenging word from the scriptures.

“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” – 2 Timothy 3:16

Kings Kids

Every Sunday children have the opportunity to be part of Kings Kids, our children’s church for 4 to 11 years olds. Our dedicated team will teach the Bible in a relevant and creative way. Children are taught to praise, pray and grow in their faith and understanding of Christianity. On special occasions our kids take part within our adult services too; at Christmas and Easter our congregation is especially blessed by the input of our young people.

Midweek Meetings

Prayer and Worship – Growing in God

Pray and praise is an essential part of our Church life and we believe if we are to grow as Christians then prayer must be a priority. We pray every Sunday morning between 9:45 -10:00am and also have prayer nights every second Tuesday at 7:30pm – the venue to be confirmed in the Sunday Service. This is an opportunity for you to stand with other believers, and support one another. God answers prayer.

Connect – Growing in Relationships

Connect runs every other week on different days of the week; it is a great opportunity for you to get to know our church family. We eat together, socialise and then have a time in which we discuss the previous Sunday’s sermon as well as other important topics. This is done in groups and there is no obligation to join in, with a very informal and relaxed setting. Ask a member of the team at the church for further details, or hear the venue and times confirmed in the Sunday Service

Love Does

“Let all that you do be done in love” – 1 Corinthians 16:14

You can’t love someone without doing something that expresses that love. The church has ongoing projects including Our Community Café and Kids Clothes Bank.

The church has a long history supporting local families with our Kids Clothes Bank. Check out the Kids Clothes Bank Facebook for more details.

We have a team of volunteers who are here to chat and offer advise where we can.

We simply believe that love does, and we want to make a difference in our local community.
